SUNDAY, JUNE 5^TH   2021 3PM EDT VIOLINIST SUSAN SYNNESTVEDT AND VIOLIST DIANE MUES FROM CHICAGO SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA. Orchestra audition class…take a “mock” audition and receive feedback from a CSO violinist and violist! Choose to take a student or pre-professional level audition. Violinists and violists welcome!! Pre-professional level….learn 5 or 6 excerpts from a specific list, and a concerto mvt., and let Sue and Diane choose what they’d like to hear…just as in a real audition. Student level….learn 1 or 2 pre-selected excerpts and a concerto mvt….you’ll know in advance which excerpts you’ll have to learn and play. Concerto mvt. will be prepared in advance, of course.
